Each Wingshuck corn shuck doll is a one-of-a-kind original created with natural hand-dyed corn shucks. Inspiration for the dolls springs from a combination of my Appalachian Mountain and South Alabama heritage, resulting in dolls depicting folklore, mountain ways, herbal healing and other connections with nature.
IMPORTANT!! Keep from direct sunlight, dust lightly with a damp cloth to freshen, and this original work will bring lasting enjoyment for many, many years.

Victorian Father Christmas|
Also known as the legendary St. Nicholas, he is dressed in a cloak trimmed in wool. He carries a sack of gifts over his shoulder with one hand and a cedar bough in the other. His beard is white curly wool and he comes in either scarlet, natural or wine. Please specify color or artist's choice.

She has a long braid of woolen hair under a straw bonnet, sports a garden apron and totes a gunny sack full of her favorite dried herbs. The Herbal Lady is available in a choice of Lavender, Basil, Anise Hyssop, Thyme, Yarrow, Rosemary, Sage, White Sage, Oregano, and Rue. The example shown is “Lilith” Lavender Herbal Lady. She is a member of the mint family and revered by the Romans as a bath oil; the name lavender comes from the Latin lavare, to bathe.
