A gallery of prints and originals of the Folk Art of Mary Youngblood. Mary has been painting for less than 10 years and considers her talent a gift from God. Her formal training was at Soapstone School of Art in Atlanta. At an early age, Mary demonstrated artistic talent by designing clothes. She has designed clothes for a number of individuals, agencies, and companies. Mary is a Walterboro native and attended Long Island University and Amberts Edwards Theatre School in New York and the Career Institute of Savannah, GA. Mary is the South Carolina Artisans Center's Artist of the Month for November 2001. Prices include shipping charges. |
