"For as long as I can remember, I have always had a special fascination with nature" says Art LaMay. "To know that I have captured the subject of the scene as it really is in its natural setting is a true encouragement. To do a portrait, to bring out the comical or even human characteristics as we often see them is true enjoyment."

Art has been selected as Ducks Unlimited International Artist of the Year as well as Artist of the Year for Northern Wildlife Expo, Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Florida Wildlife Exposition, and Northeastern Wildlife Exposition. He has been commissioned by the South Carolina Waterfowl Association for Duck Stamp Prints five consecutive years and has been Poster Artist of the Year for the Easton Waterfowl Festival and Texas Wildlife Exposition.

Each print in Art's Medallion Series has a matching collectable gold-colored medallion. The medallions are approximately 2" in diameter with the print image minted on one side and the Great Seal of the United States on the other side. Medallions can be mounted in the mat of the framed print or displayed seperately.
